Corporations and foundations are large supporters of Penn State New Kensington. Often, the campus is working toward the same goals as area businesses. For instance, it has been our goal to educate as many qualified registered nurses as possible over the past several years. With the recent nursing shortage, it is our responsibility to help provide the education and help fill the need for nurses in this region. Corporate Matching Gifts
How do I get my gift matched?
First, find out if your company has a matching gift program. Your company may match your gift with a gift of its own, so check with your human resources office about this aspect of giving. Each company has its own guidelines for employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. Most corporate procedures are simple:
- Request a Matching Form from your company.
- Complete and submit the form to Penn State New Kensington along with your gift.
- Penn State will verify the completed form and return it to the company.
- The company issues a matching gift contribution to Penn State New Kensington.

Equipment and Gifts-in-Kind
The need for scientific and other specialized equipment for classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and offices is always present. Penn State New Kensington depends on philanthropic sources -- especially corporate partnerships -- for gifts-in-kind and direct support that will help maintain a state-of-the-art, industry relevant educational experience.
Gifts-in-kind are non-cash donations used by the University to carry out its educational, research and outreach missions. Examples of gifts-in-kind include:
